Legacy & Planned Giving at The Unity Club

legacy_no_title.pngWe are new to these types of giving arrangements, so please bear with us for a bit as we get all the kinks worked out.  With that in mind...

For over 20 years, the legacy of the Unity Club has been to provide meeting space for members of Alcoholics Anonymous and other recovery fellowships based on the 12-steps of AA. Our organization continues to enthusiastically “Carry the Message” of hope and recovery to those in the greater community still suffering in silence and despair.

Do you wish to “Carry the Message” as part of your legacy?  Do you wish that you could support the Unity Club and improve your financial security at the same time?

Well you can.  At the Unity Club, we call it a Serenity Gift.

In fact, just one “Serenity Gift” can return an immediate tax deduction to you, plus lifetime income for you and a loved one, plus long-term financial support to the Club.

That is right--you benefit, your loved ones benefit, and the Unity Club benefits.  Now that creates a sense of financial serenity for all parties involved!

How is this possible?  By taking advantage of incentives the IRS provides, we can assist in designing a gift that delivers benefits to you and the Club.

Financial advisors call these techniques “planned gifts,” because with thoughtful planning, you can turn personal giving challenges into win-win solutions for you and for the organizations you care most about.

So, whether you want to make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime, or a gift that gives you guaranteed income for life, this section of our website is where you’ll find out how to make it happen.

Where to Begin?

First, remind yourself that you don’t have to be wealthy to make a significant gift to the Unity Club.

Second, begin browsing through Unity Club Affordable Serenity Gifts. You will be pleased at the variety of opportunities available to support the Club.

The Unity Club, Inc., its agents, and representatives are not engaged in legal or tax advisory service.  Always obtain advice of an attorney or other professional advisor to make certain a contemplated gift fits well into your overall circumstances.

The purpose of this section of our website is to provide general gift, estate, and financial planning information.  Watch for tax revisions.  State laws govern wills, trusts, and charitable gifts made in a contractual agreement.  Seek advice from legal counsel when considering these types of gifts.
